Fowlmere

Went to Fowlmere with all the family last thing as apparently there has lately been a good Starling display with several hundred birds. There were two!

Nice walk though, and the highlight was a Merlin, seen a couple of times. No doubt it was looking for the Starling roost too.

Fowlmere

First visit to Fowlmere since November, and first bit of semi-serious birding since returning from India. Not a lot. Mere frozen.

Thrushes

Took some video of the Thrushes, nearly all Blackbirds, but with a single Fieldfare, feeding on the windfall apples in the garden.
