Fowlmere and Fowlmere Road

Water VoleA very quick visit to both, but quite productive. The female Black-tailed Godwit is amazingly still at Fowlmere. The first Sand Martins there and the first House Martins anywhere were also seen. Several of the former and a couple of the latter were seen as well as pairs of Shoveler, Tufted Duck, and Coot, three Snipe, and the Water Vole.

Fowlmere Road produced the year's first Yellow Wagtail.
