Ouse Fen

Decided to try somewhere different today, so took a long (3+ hours) walk around Ouse Fen with Michelle. Not too bad. A Bittern in flight for over a minute, five Marsh Harriers, and a pair of Mediterranean Gulls in with the Black-headed Gulls being the highlights.

Earlier in the day, five Buzzards were in the air fairly low over the Rec’ and churchyard, and a Holly Blue was on vegetation around the tennis courts.
