Got up at a reasonable time and walked to Kenidjack. Birded the fields on the way and got to the valley just as the sun poked through: The beginning of a gloriously sunny morning.
Lots of birds but nothing special apart from the same stuff I found the other day: Siberian Chiffchaff, possible (probable?) Siberian Lesser Whitethroat, and Yellow-browed Warbler.
Walked back to St. Just and got a pasty for lunch and had a change of clothes into shorts. Then all of a sudden, the fog came in. Birded Cot for a couple of hours and then Nanquidno until half an hour before dusk. Think the fog killed the birding, particularly late at Nanquidno when there was no activity whatsoever. Another odd-sounding Chiffchaff (abietnus?) was the only interesting observation.
