The Naze

Decided to give the Naze another go after my attempt a couple of weeks ago. Habitat there is good. Very few birders (though lots of dog walkers). And just about (along with Languard) the nearest coastal place from home.

Started well as about the second or third bird I saw was a Willow Warbler and Chiffchaffs also seemed abundant. But apart from a Lesser Whitethroat found later, that was about it for migrants.

Gave it about 20 minutes looking out to sea, but don’t think the shape of the coast particularly lends itself to good seabirds. A few Gannets was all I could get.
