Nearly twenty years after an untickable view of a calling bird in flight on Tresco, Scilly, I finally added Red-throated Pipit to my British list at the unlikeliest of places, the Pennine Moors.
Great bird. Beautiful countryside. And a nice chat with the finder. Crap record-shots as always…
